Not one, not two, but THREE Kindle Fire 2 models incoming?

While we're still waiting for the release of the first Amazon Kindle Fire tablet here in the UK, new reports suggest that its sequel come in three different versions.

While previous rumours had suggested the next Kindle Fire would come in 10 and 7-inch variants, numerous Taiwanese publications are now contradicting that, stating that the Kindle Fire 2 will come in an 8.9 inch size and two slightly differing 7-inch models.

The main difference between the two 7-inch versions is said to be screen resolutions: an entry level model will kick off proceedings with a 1024 x 600 resolution, with the mid-range model offering a 1280 x 800 screen.
Moving up to the 8.9 incher, it'll be Amazon's top of the line model, offering a full HD screen resolution, with only the new iPad offering more impressive display tech in a tablet.
Of course, as ever, it's all rumour and speculation at this point. But should the rumours regarding the HD 8.9 incher prove true, the Retina Display of the latest iPad may have a new, cut price rival quite soon.

This is because Amazon is going full HD! A 1920 x 1200 display sounds great, and is quite an unexpected turn of events for most people. Apple will certainly have to watch out and get down and face the realty which is the Kindle Fire 2, the new amazing tablet that Amazon will certainly use to its full potential. The previous kindle was considered by most an entry level device and that’s why the cost of $199 was perfectly fine. What will the new product bring and how much will Amazon charge for it? If you are really concerned about the price tag then check out our study of the Amazon’s Kindle Fire 2 cost.

One is sure though, thanks to the Amazon-Foxconn agreement you can expect the new kindle to be high quality and very durable. Amazon is certainly investing a lot of effort (and money) to not only stay in the tablet food chain, but also the get to the top of it! Amazon will also try to sell the tablet as cheap as possible so they may get more new users and costumers. However, there is a lot going under the hood of this fancy gadget and it is hard to believe that Amazon will keep cheaper prices for too long so your best bet is to get it while its hot when it does come out!

Tech Specs
The Kindle Fire now available in the market is powered with a dual-core processor and runs on Android 2.3 (Gingerbread). It can run for eight hours on a single charge and has 8GB of internal memory.
The next Kindle Fire could have a quad-core processor and a better display .
Price
The new tablet is expected to be priced at approximately £150 (7in) and £180 for the 8.9in model. While there is an understandable increase in prices over the older Kindle Fire, there are rumours Apple is planning a mini-iPad expected to launch in Q3 of this year and will probably be priced around the sams as the Kindle Fire 2.
UK Release
Amazon may look to launch the new range sometime during the spring of this year. However, there is no specific information, as yet, about the UK release date.
Meanwhile, Taiwan-based Quanta Computer, the world's largest notebook maker and producer of the Kindle Fire, has reportedly received an order from Amazon to begin work for its forthcoming tablet - Kindle Fire 2.
There are contradictory reports, though. There is news Foxconn, the manufacturer of the new iPad, has won the contract for the Fire 2.
